Delving into Ancient Ruins
Developed by Dreambyte, Forewarned invites 1-4 players to embark on thrilling adventures within ancient Egyptian ruins teeming with monsters, traps, and cursed treasures. Players are tasked with investigating phenomena, collecting valuable treasures, unraveling lore, and surviving the dangers lurking within the depths.
A Major Milestone
Originally introduced about three years ago, Forewarned garnered attention but failed to achieve the cult following of its genre counterparts, possibly due to its VR support requirement. However, with its 1.0 release on April 25, 2024, Forewarned solidifies its position as a commendable title offering immersive gameplay experiences in both VR and non-VR modes.
The Final Reckoning update accompanying the 1.0 release introduces exciting additions, including a formidable new adversary named Ptahmes the Resilient, along with two new maps-the Secret Temple of Ptah and the Royal Outskirts. Additionally, players can explore the newly added Outdoor Ruins, featuring procedurally-generated terrain and unique adversaries.
