Clash Of Clans Attack Guide: Watch What Happens When Nine Golems Assault A Base

Nine golems. Three attacks. What would happen?

Beyond the obvious of ‘you’re foolishly spending far too much dark elixir’, the answer is: quite a lot. Golems in Clash of Clans are tough SOBs; they’re juggernauts, the ultimate sponges. Hell, they’re the basis for an entire offensive strategy, the GoWiPe.

So naturally we have to see what happens when you set forth quite a bit of them onto an enemy encampment with nothing but the Barbarian King and Queen to back you up. Galadon of the Clash of Clans Attacks Youtube channel thought it’d be fun to try his hand at utilizing nine Golems in an out and assault.

What ends up happening is the equivalent to having 9 tanks and one DPS unit in a 10 man raid in World of Warcraft. Golems are beloved for the sheer amount of damage they can absorb, thereby allowing the weaker units - such as the Wizard - to rain fiery hell down upon the enemy. Though without Wizards (or PEKKA) this time around, the King and especially the Queen provide all the additional DPS required. Galadon goes through three replays and the third attack results in the kind of strategy they’d teach at whatever the equivalent of West Point Clash of Clans possesses.

A base, laid out with a sparse perimeter, which naturally forces the units around the outside before entering the middle, is slowly, methodically razed. One by one, the Golems push through building after building, allowing the queen to play sweep and clean up everything. In fact, the only reason the assault does not end with three stars is because Galadon ran out of time at the end.

See for yourself the wonders of the All Golem assault.
