‘Battlefront II’ Trailer: Single-Player, Multiplayer Modes Revealed; Inferno Squad Gets Unique Abilities, Gamers Control Not Optimized; Gun-Play More Skillbased

"Battlefront II" video has been revealed featuring details on both the singleplayer and multiplayer modes. It has been noted that the gunplay will be deeper while the ADS will have an aiming bonus. In addition, the first gameplay trailer has now been revealed.

New Video Reveals SP, MP Details

The YouTuber Battlefront Updates launched a new video sharing tidbits from a press Q&A held recently. EA Motive has confirmed that a number of characters in Iden Version's Inferno Squad will be getting unique abilities to make them handy for some situations. However, "Battlefront II" gamers may not be able to control them directly.

Furthermore, switching to Luke and Kylo may also provide a way to see the main character from their perspective. Rumor has it that her droid companion will be a crucial part of the campaign as she sports some useful skills. In addition, the single player in "Battlefront II" would also feature a similar progression system to the multiplayer mode although it will be separate, WCCF Tech reported.

As for the multiplayer mode, the "Battlefront II" developers have confirmed that gunplay will be more skill-based with a deeper learning curve. There may also be a reason to aim down sights instead of just using hip fire. Note that "Battlefront II" will not be getting a partner or squad system. However, something new is expected to be shared later on.

EA Launches New Star Wars Trailer

In other news, EA just unveiled the first official trailer for "Battlefront II." The new trailer gives insight on what to expect from the sequel including the single-player story mode, Pocket-Lint reported. In the campaign mode, gamers may control the female Elite Stormtrooper who fights battles following the defeat of the Empire at Endor. Note that the game will be available on PS4, Window 10 PCs, and Xbox One.

"Battlefront 2" is also set to reveal more characters from previous "Star Wars" films. Yoda, Rey, Kylo Ren and Darth Maul have already been revealed. In addition, huge battles in space are expected to be a prominent feature of the game. Watch the full-length reveal trailer below:
