‘Horizon: Zero Dawn’ How Ants Were Made Excellent Part Of Effects? Sells 2.6 Million Units Two Weeks Post Release

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" has been earning some good praises since it was launched. In fact, a lot of players have been talking about the amazing details in the game, which includes the ants climbing up tree trunks.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" Shares How Ants Were Included

According to "Horizon: Zero Dawn" art director Michiel van der Leeuw, the game animators had taken the time out of the day to implement the ants as one of the effects. He also added how the team thought of an environment that would have something to make it appear more alive, watching several documentaries about nature during the development. Out of this, a simple hologram with a custom animation has been created by a shader artist, given that the engine is very flexible.

Although "Horizon: Zero Dawn" players have seen how every tribe in every region has their own customs as well as dress sense, this presents an entire level of attention to detail. Meantime, a story expansion is now being developed for those who have already completed everything in the game. However, there is no announcement yet regarding the official date of release, Gaming Bolt reported.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" Sales Reaches 2.6 Million Units In Two Weeks

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment was able to sell over 2.6 million units of the game within the first two weeks of release. The figure, which was announced by the company, covers the global sales of retail and digital copies.

The "Horizon: Zero Dawn" sales number represents the data gathered through March 12 in Europe and North America, including March 13 in Asia. It should be noted that the highly acclaimed PS4 exclusive was released on Feb. 28 in North America, March 1 in Europe and March 2 in Japan and Asia,  Polygon reported.
