‘Power Rangers’ Arrives on ‘Minecraft’ In Latest DLC

“Minecraft” gets a new crossover and this times it’s the mighty morphin “Power Rangers” in its latest DLC. The game had numerous crossovers in the past which includes favorite gaming characters like “Super Mario”. But what sets the latest DLC apart from the rest is that it's actually a team-up between Microsoft and the game to bring Saban’s mighty morphin “Power Rangers” skins.

The latest DLC is now available on all consoles which are Windows 10, Pocket, and in the digital bundle for $2.99 according to IGN. Gamerant reports there are also reports it is available for a free trial. In the DLC, players get to use all the members of the “Power Rangers” which includes Red, Pink, Blue, Black, Yellow and even Green Ranger. Of course, if the rangers are there, so will be the enemies like Rita Repulsa, Skull, and Bulk in “Minecraft” signature pixelated look.

What makes the new DLC even more interesting is the developer features the original ranger looks of the new skins rather than the latest ranger outfits in the recent movie according to Gamerant. But in this way, the new DLC will not only attract today’s generation but will be appreciated by fans of the original ranger as well. There are no reports yet whether the latest DLC will also arrive in Nintendo Switch “Minecraft” which will release within the year. For now, the new skins is confirmed to be available in mobile, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and Wii U.

Minecraft has been one of the most popular games in today’s time. As of February of this year, the game has already sold 121 million copies which make it the top 2 best-selling video game throughout history, just behind the different versions of Tetris. And in 2014, Microsoft has announced a deal with Mojang for the US $2.5 billion.
