New 'Destiny 2' Trailer Confirms Leaked Story Details

Bungie has finally released its first video trailer for "Destiny 2", which also teases another upcoming trailer scheduled on March 30, 2017. For most fans, the revealed trailer was considerably quite short. However, others have picked up a lot of information from the short teaser itself. Others appear to love the new trailer since it seemingly verifies the story speculations that have circulated among the game's fanbase.

The new trailer draws focus on Cayde-6 and is titled "Last Call". The Vanguard Hunter is shown sitting in a bar with a drink in hand. He talks about some of the things that happened recently, which shows the Cabal forces invading the Last City. Cayde-6 talks about the attacks on the Tower and different enemies that they encountered. Game Rant notes that the "Destiny 2" trailer itself confirms the rumors of the Cabal being the main antagonists in the sequel as indicated by speculations.

It appears that "Destiny 2" will follow the story speculations detailed by the accidentally leaked Mega Bloks product page. The first game also revealed that the Cabal empire was contacted by the distress signal in one of the story missions. Fans have also pointed out that some new enemy units were shown in the trailer. Some toy advertisements have reportedly leaked the new enemy types as well as other game information. Meanwhile, some fans have also pointed out that there is no mention of the Guardian's Ghosts.

Other reports have also mentioned that the PS4 version teaser somehow confirms that the platform will have some exclusive timed content, just like the first game. Other notable speculations like a PC version of the shooter have yet to be officially confirmed by the developer. Fans are advised to wait for the "Destiny 2" worldwide reveal trailer scheduled to come this week in order to learn more about the sequel.

Earlier this week, speculations about a PC version of "Destiny 2" were allegedly confirmed by a German GameStop pre-order slip, reports Gamenguide. Meanwhile, Bungie's official artwork for the sequel also pre-emptively confirmed that the Last City will be under siege.
