'Gears Of War 4’ April Update: Easter Rolls Out For Gamers

"Gears of War 4" has an April update which is centers on an Easter themed content. It balances changes and fixes for the entire game.

GameSpot has announced that the newest update to “Gears of War 4” will be launched on April 14. In accordance with the Easter celebrations, a new game mode will be added. The game mode’s name is “Bunny Hunt” and will give all players giant fluffy bunny hats, during the in-game event. Those bunny hats will most probably be an amazing target to point at and a terrible bother when it comes to corner cover and hiding. Anyway, those fluffy ears on, grab your gun and score a few kills for mankind.

There are a few maps coming with “Gears of War 4” April update too. WindowsCentral shares that the “Gear of War 3” map “Hotel” will make a return. This time, it has been visually updated, it has been placed within a misty region with a waterfall nearby and some of the weapons have been switched to enhance the combat experience.

Besides that, the “Hotel” map brings the same cover/outdoors experience which the original offered. “The Slab” is the second “Gears of War 3” map which has been updated for the newest installment. The map not only offers action-packed combat but also gives fans of the series a deeper insight into Marcus Fenix’s prison.

XBOX Wire reports that legacy characters will keep appearing in “Gears of War 4”. Just like Tai was added in March, now players will be able to receive Kantus from Gear Packs or from crafting. Besides that, a series of tweaks have been added to the game, which balances weapons and enhance the competitive experience. The developers’ commentary on the situation was that some of the weapons felt like having an edge over the others, that is why they have introduced a series of changes which should even out the situation. “Gears of War 4” is available on PC and XBOX One.
