The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" developers have already unleashed the news that will bolster the multiplayer and co-op experience. The "Continuum" DLC is slated to come first on the Sony PlayStation 4 platform on April 18 with other platforms to follow. In addition, "Quartermaster" gets an update.

Second Map Pack Gets Re-Imagined Map From "Modern Warfare"

Activision and Infinity Ward revealed the details for the second DLC Map Pack coming to 2016's No.1 Top-Selling Console Video Game in the U.S., Sknr.net reported. The "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" DLC is slated to add four new multiplayer maps--Turista, Archive, Scrap and Excess. Note that the latter was re-imagined from the "Modern Warfare 2" Classic, Rust.

It should further be noted that a new zombie co-op experience called Shaolin Shuffle will be coming to the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" via the DLC. Shaolin Shuffle is expected to be set in New York in the '70s era featuring a disco-zombie fright fest.

Moreover, the Studio Head of Infinity Ward, Dave Stohl revealed that the new co-op chapter will feature an all-new setting and story, continuing the wild and increasingly twisted narrative. Note that the second DLC Map Pack may be purchased on its own or as part of the Digital Deluxe or Legacy Pro editions of the game. Season Pass owners may get the four individual DLC Map Packs for $15 each.

Patch Update 1.12 Brings New Weapons To Game

In other news, new contents have been added into the "Quartermaster" in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare via a recent update. The latest patch 1.12 from Infinity Ward has added two new weapons in the game, MMOExaminer reported. Players may now opt to get one new AR (X-EON) or a new SMG (VPR).

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" players with a Season Pass may get the two weapons for free. However, players without a Season Pass may unlock the weapons with in-game challenges. In addition, all-new customization content for weapons and Combat Rigs, among others have also come to "Quartermaster." Watch more about the Continuum DLC in the video below:
