'Overwatch' Doomfist Hype As Terry Crews Claims Major Surprise For E3 2017

Speculations of Doomfist's impending arrival are once again fired up thanks to Terry Crews. The Hollywood actor has been teasing fans about his involvement with "Overwatch" since last year. Until now, Blizzard Entertainment has kept quiet about the rumors that claim the actor has already visited their studio to record lines for the upcoming hero. However, Crews shared a new video that tells fans to expect a "major surprise" come E3 2017.

Reports indicate that Terry Crews posted a 15-minute video via Facebook Live to showcase his latest projects, PC build and a look at his office. It started off pretty normal except that during the middle of the video he surprisingly told fans about his E3 2017 attendance with a surprise in tow. Game Rant notes that the actor did not specifically mention "Overwatch", but fans probably already know that is it about Doomfist after he said, "ya'll know what it is."

During his Facebook Live video, Terry Crews further teased "Overwatch" fans with another Doomfist hint when he reportedly booted up the game on his new rig. Reports also confirm that the actor has started to stream the team-based shooter on Caffeine apparently for fun. Crews was also rumored to have visited Blizzard Entertainment's studios in the past few months, which further supports fan's suspicions that the teased character might be released at last.

E3 2017 is still a couple of months away and it still remains a speculation that Terry Crews will indeed voice Doomfist for "Overwatch". For now, fans get to enjoy the recently launched "Uprising" seasonal event, as reported by Gamenguide. Gamers can collect loot boxes that give them a chance to unlock some of the new hero skins included in the update. A new PVE Brawl is also featured for up to four players to take on the omnic threats that invaded King's Row.

A recent report has already confirmed that Blizzard Entertainment is far along with the next character's development. Perhaps "Overwatch" will finally see the notorious Doomfist in action with Terry Crews providing the voice. Gamers will just have to wait until E3 2017 to find out exactly what the actor meant with "major surprise."
