Watch Dogs 2 Patch 1.13 Changelog Revealed; New Online Races Drone, eKart, Motocross On!
"Watch Dogs 2" developers have rolled out a new patch that added new online races and a new online mode. The full patch notes for the added content have gone live. The patch also came with a few bug fixes, especially with the Bio Hacking Blocker.
New Patch Adds Event And New Races
"Watch Dogs 2" Patch 1.13 added the new Showd0wn online mode as a new type of online gameplay for 2v2 PvP matches played with a friend or via random matchmaking. The new online mode will include three types of objectives: Doom-load or KotH style, Erase or Protect the Servers and Steal the HDD. The objectives will be available across 15 distinct locations. Ubisoft further noted that Showd0wn is a great endgame to play with friends.
The patch will also add new online races to "Watch Dogs 2" including the drone, eKart races and motocross which are all getting multiplayer functionality, DSO Gaming reported. Moreover, these online races will also get their own leaderboards so gamers can use them to compete for season rewards. In addition, Ubisoft also launched the Loot Truck event wherein armored trucks will randomly appear giving gamers a chance to hack them and defend against police. The patch also fixed an issue preventing a number of players from completing the mission along with updated Key Data units and issues with duplicate operations.
Update Adds New Clothes To Game
Meanwhile, the "Watch Dogs 2" update also added 13 new clothing items to the game, PC Gamer reported. Furthermore, the update also featured multiple minor improvements to the leaderboard system. Ubisoft also added the paintball gun which may be used to stun enemies with a barrage of paintballs.
"Watch Dogs 2" gamers should note that in PvP gameplay, the opponent's screen will be splashed with paintballs when attacked using a paintball gun. PC gamers may find the Update 1.013.177.1 with fixes on launching with integrated GPU. There will also be minor fixes with flickering, missing textures, reflections, UI, text and windowed modes behavior.
