Let's do some quick attendance. From Call of Duty's Modern Warfare sub-series, we already have arch-villain Vladimir Makarov, who was then followed by the good Captain Price and his distinguished mustache. Now, it seems as though another standout might be on the way, giving Ghosts a Modern Warfare trifecta.
That's what's to be assumed from a recent tweet from Ghosts developer Infinity Ward, which offered the above picture with the words, "Continue?"
There hasn't been an official announcement yet, but I can see no other reason for the tweet if not to tease the Scotsman's return. Like the Price and Makarov DLC, expect Soap's addition to come as part of new personalization packs, offering uniquely themed weapon camos, reticles, player cards, backgrounds, etc.
Soap appeared in all of the Modern Warfare games, playing a longstanding role in the series lengthy civil wars and revolutions that eventually culminate into World War III. He died during the events of Modern Warfare 3, shielding Makarov's former right hand man Yuri from a bomb, causing him to endure a lengthy fall from Prague's Hotel Lustig.

Call of Duty: Ghosts takes place in a near future following an attack from space that leaves Los Angeles virtually wiped out, and the United States' infrastructure devastated. Years later, the country is invaded by a new superpower, a conglomerate of South American nations calling itself the "Federation." What's left of America's special forces have come together to form the titular "Ghosts," and it's up to them to wage guerrilla warfare against the Federation in order to protect what remains of the United States, and drive the Federation out.
Beyond the campaign, the game's multiplayer mode, which promises a slew of different customization options for weapons, character camos, and more. Over 30 new weapons are included alongside old favorites like the UMP45 and the M4A1.
Despite not the best reviews ever for a Call of Duty game, Ghosts was a hit right out of the gate, and it looks like it'll be continuing on that path for the forseeable future.
