If you're like me, you're still trying to complete your Skylanders: Swap Force collection, and the last thing you need to hear is that there's a new money-sucking action figure collecting game on the way.
Well, you and I are both out of luck. Like clockwork, Activision is set to release details for the new Skylanders game on April 23, and I'm jealous of the super cool custom invitation that Polygon's Brian Crecente got to the event.
It was announced earlier this year that not only has Skylanders made money hand over fist for Activision (to the tune of over $2 billion to date), but that Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure and Giants developer Toys for Bob would be taking over the fourth iteration of the game.
To be honest, as a die-hard fan of the first three games, I actually thought that Vicarious Visions' Swap Force was the best one yet because of simple additions like characters being able to jump. That's not to say that Spyro's Adventure and Giants weren't fun, but I'm really hoping that Toys for Bob keeps the features that Vicarious Visions introduced.
