New Batman: Arkham Knight Screens Show Goons, Gordons, Off the Walls Batmobile, Gotham, and More

Some Closer Looks at Batman: Arkham Knight's Villains, Batmobile, and the Enormity of Gotham City

More screens from Rocksteady's return to the reigns with Batman: Arkham Knight have surfaced. There's not much "new" to spot save for a closer look at some of the goons, but more is always better than less concerning the caped crusader. Check 'em out below:

Here you see just how capable the new (and finally drivable) Batmobile will be. Note the projection of the Riddler behind the Batmobile. This isn't some kind of tilted screenshot, the batmobile is actually driving across the wall.

The car has made an appearance here or there in previous Arkham games, but it's gone through one helluva cosmetic shift. It's hard not to see a whole mess of similarities between Arkham Knight's batmobile and the tumbler from the Nolan movies.

Nothing quite makes you reconsider a life of crime more than a well placed elbow to the chin...

Like in past Arkham games, it looks like thugs will come in different flavors, with uniforms representing which mad man they've sworn their allegiance to. It's unclear yet which villains these goons work for, but the mirrored A logo on the unfirom's shoulder looks a bit similar to Arkham Knight's eponymous and wholly original new character. Left unchecked, these thugs are capable of some pretty serious damage, seen below.

Anyone else find it a bit funny that Two-Face wears a three-piece suit?

With the biggest Gotham City yet packed to the brim with villains, Bats is lucky he'll be able to rely on Commissioner Gordon and his daughter Barbara, better known an Oracle, who'll have more of a prominent role than just a voice on the radio.

New Batman game means new Bat suit, which is a clear step up in evolution from both Arkham City and Arkham Origins. The announcement trailer has a bit of a better look at it.

We've heard plenty about how Arkham City's Gotham promises to be the largest version of the city yet, but this picture of Batman soaring hundreds of feet above really shows it.

It's been over a month since we first heard about Batman: Arkham Knight, and there's still a lot left to learn. Expect more information to trickle out over the next few months, especially with E3 not too far off. The game is set to release for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this year.
