iOS 7.1.1 Released- iPhones Get Improved Touch ID Fingerprint Recognition, Keyboard Responsiveness, Bluetooth Issues

iPhone users take note- Apple has released the latest update to its operating system with iOS 7.1.1. In order to install it head on over to the 'Settings' of your iPhone, click on 'General' and go to 'Software Update'.

This isn't a big, features-laden update- it only has a few bugfixes. Here is everything the update includes:

- Further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition

- Fixes a bug that could impact keyboard responsiveness

- Fixes an issue when using Bluetooth keyboards with VoiceOver enabled

The update will take up 18.8 MB and can only be installed if you have at least 833 MB free.

Alongside today's iOS 7.1.1 update, Apple also issued Security Update 2014-002 1.0 for OS X, which includes Safari 7.0.3.

It seems likely that the next major iOS update will take the form of iOS 8, which is rumored to be announced at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 2. Keep an eye here for details from the keynote speech, which will feature their upcoming lineup of products. Perhaps that's the moment when the long-rumored larger iPhone 6 will be revealed as well.
