Ultra Street Fighter 4 hit arcades in the land of the rising sun today, but it'll be a while (June) before stateside fans get to try it out on consoles. But in order to keep your Street Fighter tremors at bay for the time being, Capcom Japan has posted the game's opening and a trailer showing all of the specials for Ultra. Check 'em out below, starting with the new opener.

Capcom had announced that players could expect Ultra Street Fighter IV in Spring, but now know that Ultra will hit arcades in Japantomorrow, April 17, according to an announcement from Street Fighter's series director Yoshinori Ono. Fighter fans looking to try out the newcomers at home will have to wait until Ultra releases on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC in June.

Ultra will arrive with a host of tweaks and balance adjustments, but the biggest change will be the addition of five characters. Four are Capcom favorites who've appeared in quite a few games before.
Hugo, Rolento, and the gender bending Poison all made their debut in the arcade classic beat 'em upFinal Fight. Rolento would cross over into the Street Fighter world alongside fellow Final Fight alumni Sodom, Cody, and Guy in the Alpha series, and Hugo and Elena would appear in Street Fighter III. In Ultra, they'll all be joined by newcomer Decapre, a Shadowloo Doll along the lines of Cammy, and Juni and Juli from Street Fighter Alpha 3. More info on each fighter at their respective links.

The game will release in two forms, with the player picking whichever they like:

1. As a $15 DLC upgrade - choose this route if you already have a copy of Street Fighter 4. With the price breakdown, it means you get each new character at $3 each.
2. As an all-new physical release, on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Besides the new characters, players will also get six new stages, all of which featured in Street Fighter X Tekken: Cosmic Elevator, Mad Gear Hideout, Jurassic Era Research Facility, Blast Furnace, and Pitstop 109.
