Mercenary Ops developer YingPei Games has announced a closed beta for their upcoming third-person shooter Zombies, Monsters, Robots, known as Hazard Ops in Europe. In this day and age a shooter needs a lot to differentiate itself from everything that's come before it, even a co-op one, and Infernum's tactic seems to be "throw everything into it!" The reveal trailer for Zombies, Monsters, Robots/Hazard Ops shows you fighting off zombies, mummies, robots, mutants, dinosaurs, and even a "WTF boss". While it features all manner of monsters and bad guys it does seem to have a fun, tongue-in-cheek feel, even as you blow enemies to pieces.
In this new trailer you can see a few of these enemies, as well as the different environments you'll fight in while an AC/DC parody song plays. A snowstorm? A ruined city? A forest? An underground base? Just throw it all in, we can take it! If the co-op gameplay is as much fun as these trailers make it look we're in for something special. Sign up for the beta to find out for yourselves next month. Besides allowing you to destroy zombie nurses and giant killer robots, registering will also give you the change to be one of ten people randomly chosen to receive Early Access packages to the game.
