Pokémon News: Pokémon TV App Now Available for Kindle Fire

Amazon's Kindle Fire Tablet Gets Pokémon TV App

There's a new way to catch up on Pokémon animation anytime fans like. According to a press release, the Pokémon Company International has launched the official Pokémon TV application for the popular Kindle Fire tablet, allowing viewers to watch the pocket monsters whenever, and wherever they like.

The Kindle Fire launch adds another platform for the Pokémon TV app, and will no doubt send the app's installations even higher. Since its 2013 launch on iOS devices and Android devices, the app has had more than 2.5 million installations.

Now featuring more episodes than ever before, the Pokémon TV app helps fans follow many of their favorite episodes from the animated television series. It is updated weekly from a library of more than 700 episodes spanning 16 seasons. Pokémon fans can also use the app to watch special features, trailers, and Pokémon movie events. No doubt the forthcoming Pokémon movie, "Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction" will make its way over to the app some time following its Japanese silver screen debut this summer.

If you're not a gadget guy, you can still catch up on your Poké-crack and watch animated episodes and movies on Netflix, and at Pokemon.com.

When streaming episodes via the Pokémon TV app, standard data charges will apply. The Pokémon TV app is available now for download from the Amazon Appstore here. To download the Pokémon TV app for iOS or Android devices: The app is also available for iOS devices via iTunes, and Android devices via Google Play.
