'Madden 15' Cover Vote: Round 1 Voting Ending, Get Your Pick In Now! Sherman, Foles, And Kaepernick Leading [VIDEO]

Richard Sherman, Nick Foles, and Colin Kaepernick Leading First Round of Madden NFL 15 Cover Vote

The NFL Draft has long since quieted, but the vote to decide which athlete will grace the cover of Madden NFL 15 is just getting started. The first round of the vote went live when the draft started on May 8, but it'll round comes to a close later tonight, so you better get your votes in now while you still can.

Here's Who We Think Should Grace the Cover of Madden 15

Last year's vote for Madden 25 was done tournament style, and this year's is being done the same way. Fans can choose between the following players to win the bracket:

- Seattle Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman against Chicago Bears Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffery
- New Orleans Saints Tight End Jimmy Graham against Green Bay Packers Running Back Eddie Lacy
- Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Demaryius Thomas against Carolina Panthers Middle Linebacker Luke Kuechly
- San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick against Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Nick Foles
- Carolina Panthers Quarterback Cam Newton against Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver and Punt Returner Antonio Brown
- Kansas City Chiefs Running Back Jamaal Charles against Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver A.J. Green
- Philadelphia Eagles Running Back LeSean McCoy against Indianapolis Colts Wide Receiver T.Y. Hilton
- Indianapolis Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck against Washington Redskins Running Back Alfred Morris.

Madden 15 Release Date Announced Alongside Teaser Trailer Featuring Luke Kuechly

Last year saw 32 brackets of all-time NFL greats on one side, and 32 modern NFL superstars on the other, and after a month long tournament saw over 40 million votes cast, Barry Sanders emerged as the winner. But who will get the glory for this year's cover?

If you listen to Sanders, that victory goes to the Seahawks, as the former cover boy predicted Sherman would win the first round of voting. Interestingly, that lines up with Twitter buzz, which shows Richard Sherman, Nick Foles, Colin Kaepernick, Alfred Morris, and Cam Newton as the favorites, but whether that translates to actually winning the first round of voting remains to be seen. Will Sherman's superbowl win last year be enough to carry him all the way through?

With only hours left, head over to ESPN to cast your vote. Madden NFL 15 hits the field on August 26 in North America, and August 29 in Europe. It will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3. You can check out the first official trailer for the game below.
