'Far Cry 4' News: Details Sneak Out On Main Characters, Player Ajay Ghale And Enemy Pagan Min [VIDEO]
Ubisoft has kept quiet on the Far Cry 4 front since its announcement earlier this month, but it seems a small slip-up has just let loose a few key details.
Not long after a Limited Edition of the game was formally announced, some key details were seemingly placed up on Uplay, only to be immediately removed, but not quick enough. The Internet grabbed a hold of it quicker than a fat kid on a cupcake. Three cheers to Google Cache for that one.
Seen above, the picture that appeared alongside the info isn't too different from the promotional image that appeared with the game's announcement, but the accompanying description had a bit more for gamers:
"Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother's dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min. Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story. Welcome to Kyrat."
It's assumed the man with the outrageous fashion sense seated in the throne is the dictator, Pagan Min. This was later halfheartedly confirmed by Ubisoft Creative Director Alex Hutchinson, who tweeted, "Just so it's clear for those jumping to conclusions: He's not white and that's not the player."
Think Pagan Min will be as insane as Far Cry 3's Vaas? Check out the video below for a nice refresher of just how looney tunes Vass was, waxing philosophical on the mindlessness of dubstep. Far Cry 4 will be available November 18 in the US, November 20 in Europe, and November 21 in the UK. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 3 and 4, and Xbox 360 and One.
