How's this for a change of pace? While in Dragon Age: Inquisition you'll certainly be fighting Darkspawn in rugged, off-the-beaten-path locations, it's not all doom and gloom. Bioware has shown off how the one percent lives.

A Detailed Look At Dragon Age Inquisition's Fortress Of Adamant

This is the Winter Palace, a Orleasian structure inhabited by nobles in Halamshiral. While the rest of the country is going to hell they still have plenty of money. Orlais has been featured in much Dragon Age lore but this is the first time you'll get to explore it. Buckingham Palace was use as inspirated, and it features incredible artwork in the ceiling as well. Expect this to be a land of political fighting, where the series' much-heralded dialogue will come into play..

What else will you be able to find here? "There is a nice chunk of content off the beaten path," says level designer Chris Corfe in a blog. "And beware of the approval of the Imperial Court!"

"Make sure to search every dark corner of the place. You never know what you might find," enior environment artist Ryan Love. "Also, always remember to be a good party guest. People won't take kindly to a guest snooping in their closets!"

It does seem like a place where one could find all sorts of expensive trinkits to steal, though, so it certainly will be tempting. Especially if you consider the wealth disparity between how these people live and those that are dealing with a war are living.
