Today, Marvel Heroes 2015 launched! The game is a redesign and content update celebrating the one year anniversary of popular MMO Marvel Heroes. Today's launch kicks off a month long event of in game prizes and events, plus the addition of a new endgame, 10-man raid.
Marvel Heroes Launches In June With New Raid!
Not content to simply rest on their laurels, developer Gazillion Entertainment will also be releasing several new features during the entire month of June. Players can look forward to the following additions in the next coming weeks:
- Achievements: Accomplish the impossible and be recognized - some are even catered to individual heroes.
- Login Rewards: Showing our appreciation for committed players by thanking them with many awesome things.
- Silver Surfer: The Herald nears. Will Norrin Radd's arrival presage doom, bring salvation, or just deliver a cool new hero to play? (Hint: It's the last one.)
- 365: Days of. Gifts for. Oh yes, we have plans.
- End of Anniversary: A celebratory surprise event to close out the month.
Metal Gear Solid Movie May Have Found Its Director
These are in addition to the already launched Surtur raid and the new Omega System, which allows players further customization choices up to and past level 60. And frankly, the world needs more Silver Surfer in it, so this can only be a good thing. I mean, the Silver Surfer! Awesome!
After a rocky start, Marvel Heroes has found its footing. The starting rosters has been doubled, the total amount of heroes has increased significantly and the studio is passionately devoted to listening to the users and delivering things that not only work, but are also wanted.
