The Sims 4 Gameplay From E3 2014 Shows Off 'Big Personalities', EA Puts On Strange Live Demo

The Sims 4 was given its debut during EA's E3 press conference, which just wrapped up live in Los Angeles. The title will be available on PC September 7.

The Sims 4 Build Mode Looks Refined And More Efficient

EA released both a trailer and gameplay walkthrough, which can be seen below, emphasizing the different personalities of the characters in the upcoming title. The different traits you put into your Sims will supposedly be more noticeable than before, with "big personalities" set to take over the experience.

The trailer is fairly straightforward, though the live demo was a bit odd. The gameplay sequences the developers chose to demonstrate were strange, including getting in a fight with an old lady who did not appreciate your writing prowess.

The Sims has always had a quirky personality itself, but the overly-enthusiastic presentation and weird gameplay segments left me (and I know I'm not alone) somewhat confused. Watch both videos below and let us know how you feel about The Sims 4's debut.
