Of the many assorted announcements we had at this year's E3, fans were treated to a brief flash of the first DLC for the PS4 exclusive inFamous: Second Son, and Sony has finally come through with some information on what gamers can expect.

No New Power at End of inFamous: Second Son's Paper Trail Missions, Sucker Punch Reveals

The DLC stars Abigail "Fetch" Walker, the neon wielding conduit that worked with inFamous newcomer Delsin Rowe. But when the DLC was announced at this year's E3, no one was quite sure exactly what the DLC's story was. Would it be a prequel, a follow-up to Second Son, what?

If you played through Second Son, then you're familiar with some of Fetch's story, and her experiences before she runs into Delsin. So when Sony showed off a trailer featuring Fetch in cuffs at Curdun Cay, fans quickly realized that "First Light" is her "origin" story of sorts, and Sony confirmed as much with an informative little blurb:

Wire and Glass Powers Considered for inFamous: Second Son's Delsin Rowe

"Return to Seattle as Abigail "Fetch" Walker - the feisty, neon-powered conduit who takes on the Department of Unified Protection with Delsin Rowe - in this prequel to inFAMOUS: Second Son. Unravel Fetch's dark past as she relives her troubled memories while being interrogated by Brooke Augustine in the notoriously harsh prison for superhumans - Curdun Cay. See Fetch develop her powers and become a trained killer, then fight to escape the maximum security facility and seek revenge against those who've wronged her. Get a taste of the award-winning inFAMOUS: Second Son action without needing the full game. Set your top scores with Fetch's neon powers in the Conduit Training Room."

Exact pricing and a release date haven't been provided yet, but the DLC is expected in August. If you missed the reveal trailer, you can check it out below.
