'Dragon Age Inquisition' E3 2014 Trailer, Stand Together Or Die Alone In Beautiful But Dangerous Thedas [VIDEO]

'Dragon Age Inquisition' E3 2014 Trailer Highlights Some Of Your Allies

Arguably one of the most anticipated titles still to come out this year is Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third entry into Bioware's hugely popular RPG franchise. The studio has just released a final E3 trailer which highlights several of the characters that are involved in the so called 'Inquisition' that is currently overtaking the continent of Thedas.

Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Looks Stunning On The PS4

To say that the trailer looks impressive is an understatement. This is a Bioware game and their games are always on the high end of beautiful. Narrated by an ashy voiced woman, the trailer gives a glimpse into four of the characters who make up the titular Inquisition. At first appearance, they appear to be stock fantasy tropes, the feisty warrioress, the silent and haunted fighter, the deceptive wizard but I am sure in true Bioware fashion, the final characters will be far more nuanced.

The game will take place during a civil war between the Templars and the Mages, both heavily affected by the events of the first Dragon Age. You, the player, and your merry team of Inquisitors, is tasked with "saving the world from itself." Anytime Templars and Wizards come to blows, the land is ultimately the loser.

Let It Die Trailer From Suda51 Is All Kinds Of Messy Glory

Dragon Age: Inquisition hopes to remedy some of the problems of the rushed Dragon Age II had, while massively increasing the scale of the game world and updating many aspects, such as a new romance system, extensive customization and a new combat system which allows you to pause the game and position your troops in a more strategic style.

The game hits PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on October 7, so clear your calendars for that weekend. Gather your troops and watch the trailer below!
