Sniper Elite 3 developer Rebellion Games has announced a Limited Special Edition for the PC version of the upcoming title, which comes with fat sack of extras. But if you want to get a hold of it, act fast, because when Rebellion says "limited," they mean it.

Just about every game now has some kind of collector, special, or limited edition, but Rebellion Games means it, as they've self-published only 1,000 of the recently revealed Special Edition of Sniper Elite 3. The edition is costly at $150, but it comes with a LOT, and I do mean a LOT of extras. A press release had all the details on what's included:

* Access to ALL current and future Sniper Elite 3 PC DLC packs.
* Bespoke game tin protected by an individually numbered card sleeve.
* Wax-sealed secret dossier including: tank & weapon schematics, maps of North Africa, spotter’s guides and more!
* A5 card hand-signed by members of the Sniper Elite 3 development team.
* Limited edition t-shirt.
* Hand-illustrated playing cards representing American, British, Italian and German forces.

* 6 x original Sniper Elite 3 postcards.

I'm actually kind of impressed by the instruction manual, as it's something you just don't get anymore, unless you consider a 2 to 3 page leaflet a "manual."
This edition can only be purchased via Rebellion's Gamestore, and there's only 1,000, so if you're interested, hop to it. While you'll be able to enjoy the tangible items regardless of what type of computer you have, you'll need a setup with the minimum following specs in order to run the game:
Operating System - Microsoft Windows Vista (Service Pack 2), or Windows 7, or Windows 8, or Windows 8.1
Video - Microsoft DirectX 10.0 compatible graphics card with 256 MB of memory (NVIDIA® GeForce 8800 series / ATI Radeon HD 3870) or better
