'Clash of Clans' Update Introduces Live Streaming And Replay, Now You Can Watch Your Clanmates Destroy The Enemy And Judge Them Accordingly
The updates keep coming from the fine folks at Supercell for their popular Clash of Clans real-time strategy mobile game. Have you not joined the battle yet? There is no better time than now.
In the endlessly updated forum post, Supercell forum moderator Marika revealed a few new teases for the upcoming update. The biggest change to the game is the introduction of Clan Wars streaming. You can watch live or view replays of your own clan members, though no word on the length of time that the games will be available.
Now you can watch, and secretly judge, your team-mates as they wage battle against your enemies. Along similar lines, "Tired of having to reduce the amount of words in order to deliver a message to your clan members? No more need for that either! Clan mail messages can now be twice as long!"
At last, you can tell your team-mates why they're sucking in twice as many words! Start jotting down your insults, and compliments, you're going to need them soon.
Though the majority of these recent updates are a nice touch, they still do not address the complaints of lower level players to make advancing easier, and cheaper. A lot of games are balanced towards the end game content, as it is technically 'the finish line' and so it creates a sort of pool, all the players end up there eventually, but it makes the shallow end a lot less fun. The kids in the deep end get all the nice toys.
The brilliance of the new generation of games, mobile or otherwise, is the ability to constantly reinvent themselves. Think of all the updates that have come and gone, is Clash of Clans the same game it was when it launched years ago? Imagine what will happen next.
