The games company, who publishes the Dead Island franchise among others, will be presenting the 'Three Flavors of Zombie' panel at next weekend's SDCC. The panel will include interviews with the developers behind the three upcoming Dead Island games: Dead Island 2, Dead Island Epidemic and Escape Dead Island.
Panel participants and resident zombie experts include Bernd Diemer, game director at YAGER Development and Sebastian Reichert, lead creative producer at Deep Silver; Robin Flodin, game director at developer Fatshark and Jon Smallwood, creative producer at Deep Silver for Escape Dead Island; and Jan Eric Lauble, senior creative producer at Deep Silver for the Dead Island franchise.

Moderating the panel is Resident Internet Cat GIF Expert and Director of North and South American Marketing and PR for Deep Silver, Aubrey Norris.
"Fans are also able to mingle with the development teams just blocks from the San Diego Convention Center, as Deep Silver takes over Whiskey Girl restaurant and bar, located at 702 5th Avenue in San Diego on Friday and Saturday during Comic-Con from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, July 25-26th. Razer will also be on hand at Whiskey Girl during the games arcade giving away more than $10,000 in Razer gear."
Deep Silver is also partnering with Square Enix to create a whole arcade experience for people to play with at the convention.
In addition to the Dead Island games, Deep Silver will also have playable versions of FPS title Metro Redux and hack 'n' slash game, Sacred 3. the first 800 fans to play Metro Redux getting a custom Metro Redux DUALSHOCK 4 controller skin by FlamingToast Stickers.
Dead Island 2 will be hitting PS4, Xbox One and PC this fall will put players in beautiful, sunny California as the zombie apocalypse hits. The open world nature of the game will lend itself to endless opportunities for mayhem and carnage.
Currently in a closed beta, Dead Island Epidemic is a new MOBA set in the Dead Island universe that will put a new spin on the genre: player against player against zombie. It will be coming out for PC.
Escape Dead Island puts gamers back before the main events of the original as they get to experience how the outbreak started in a noir mystery adventure.
We can say one thing, in addition to making stunningly good trailers, Deep Silver is not one to rest on their laurels. Rather than just redoing the same game over and over again, they're branching out and seeing what works best.
The San Diego Comic Con runs from July 24 through July 27.
