Tanki Online Rumbles Into Germany For This Year's Gamescom

AlternativaPlatform's smash hit tank simulator, Tanki Online, will be staking its claim at this year's gamescom in Cologne, Germany. One would hope that they get into it with the guys over at Wargaming, who develop World of Tanks.

World Of Warships To Debut At 2014 Gamescom

The hugely successful 3D Tank Action browser game will be on show at the annual video games event at Hall 8, Level 1, Aisle B, Stand 030a.

The Tanki Online booth will house 18 game pods in a 'free to play' zone where fans will fight intense battles against each other. All game sessions will take place in deathmatch mode, forcing players to only rely on themselves and their skills in battle. Don't worry, each pod will feature a fully maxed out edition of Tanki Online, so no need to upgrade as you go.

Train Simulator 2015 Gets A September Release Date

Players will be able to change equipment in battle and unlike on the public servers, will be able to do so as many times as they like with no delay.

Every two hours, AlternativaPlatform will host a spot competition tournament. The map will change at random at the end of every battle. After each session, all of its participants will be rewarded with branded T-shirts while the best players will be getting top notch gaming devices as prizes. Each tournament battle will be streamed live on the big screen in the middle of the Tanki Booth, where crowds of fans will be able to watch tankers from all over the world engage in battle.

And even if you don't participate in the tournament, if you simply stop by the booth, you'll automatically be given a fancy badge and a lottery ticket. The ticket is for a random daily contest. Expect many sweet giveaways.

You can bone up on your tank skills for free at anytime here.
