The Pokemon Company has been really stepping up the giveaways as of late, and another landmark moment for the developer means another reason to give Pokemon X and Y players an in-game gift.
Pinsir And Heracross Giveaway Event Announced
The company is announcing today's grand opening of PokemonCenter.com, an online store for purchasing clothing, accessories, plush, and other products. To celebrate, the developers are giving away a special edition Vivillon (sound familiar?) for Pokemon X and Y in North America over the internet.
The unique Vivillin is pokeball-themed, colored red and white like the iconic item, as you can see in the image above. It will start at level 12 and knows the moves Stun Spore, Gust, Light Screen, and Struggle Bug. The offer will end on August 12, so you don't have too long to download your gift if you're interested.

Previously, another uniquely-patterned Vivillon was given away to celebrate 100 million Pokemon trades in X and Y. In addition, The Pokemon Company recently announced an upcoming event, starting on August 13, which will offer a free Pinsir or Heracross plus a Mega Stone to players.
Each Pokemon will be available to the version it is not normally native to, giving players a chance to flesh out the Pokedex. You can then evolve your gift into Mega Heracross or Mega Pinsir using the stone. As opposed to the Vivillon giveaways, the upcoming offer doesn't seem to be celebrating anything in particular.
