New Tweets Tease Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain Gamescom Presentation Happening Wednesday

Tomorrow, August 13, Konami and Hideo Kojima will deliver a 25 minute-presentation devoted entirely to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain at this year's Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. Kojima took to Twitter and gave us a sneak peek of some of the things we can expect to see tomorrow at 8 p.m CET.

Rise Of The Tomb Raider...Only On Xbox One!

A dedicated theatre area will be used to show key aspects of Hideo Kojima's latest opus, with the presentation offering a more thorough glimpse at the numerous ways of players can sneak their way through the latest chapter in the Solid Snake saga.

The presentation will show Snake as he "picks his way through one of the game's desert-based locales. In honor of the game's inhospitable environs, Konami will also project a vivid vista of a desert on the side of the theatre, which turns from day to night as seen in the game." Konami is pulling out all the stops, there are going to be some real world props on hand to heighten the mood, as it were.

So Much Halo From Gamescom Including Master Chief Collection, Halo Channel And More

Additionally, tomorrow at 6:30 p.m., Kojima himself will give an exclusive presentation and first look to 1700 lucky fans who find themselves at Cologne's Musical Dome venue for the convention. The evening will hopefully answer many questions and may even "offer a few surprises."

Doors will open for this adult-only event at 6:30 p.m tomorrow. Deluxe seats will also be given away through various competitions, and KONAMI will ensure seats are available to interested parties on the night.

Kojima teased some of the locales, specifically the Afghani desert in a series of tweets. The game, the second part of the Metal Gear Solid V experience, will pick up nine years after Ground Zeroes and send Snake on a desperate mission to stop a threat even greater than the Metal Gears.

Konami will also give players a world-premiere look at Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, better known as PES 2015. The game series has been given quite the overhaul. PES 2015 is being "promoted via the line 'the pitch is ours' in honour of a new focus on restoring key PES values to the series. Thus, gamescom will be a chance for players to experience the responsiveness, intricate play and new shooting and goalkeeping systems, along with the PES ID systems that ensure that the available teams both look and play like their real-life counterparts."

Both MGS V and PES 2015 will also be offering special pre-order discounts for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions to Gamescom attendees. A five Euro discount will be available to anyone reserving a copy of either game during the show. A merchandise stall will also be in Hall 10, showcasing new items for both games and others from the Konami portfolio.
