The Evil Within Season Pass Announced: Three-Add-Ons Confirmed, First DLC Will Allow You To Play As The Horrific 'Boxman'

The Evil Within Season Pass Announced, Will Allow You To Play As Boxman

Bethesda has just announced that they will be offering a Season Pass to those who purchase The Evil Within, the latest survival horror game from legendary Resident Evil director Shinji Mikami.

These Evil Within Screens Put You Face To Face With Your Worst Nightmares

Not only will the main game absolutley shatter your mind, but three downloadable add-ons will let you further explore the game's story- with completely new playable characters.

If you're not familiar with the story of the game, it will see you playing as Detective Sebastian Castellanos, who is investigating a crime scene when he's ambushed and knocked out. He awakens to find himself in a nightmare world, with all manner of creatures roaming, looking for him.

In the first add-on you will assume the role of The Keeper, aka The Boxman, in a "sadistic collection of mission-based maps". Sounds twisted. The second and third add-ons will feature the same protagonist- Juli Kidman, who was Sebastion Castellanos' partner. That will be a two-part story that sees her encountering new enemies and areas and revealing even more of just what the hell is going on.

It's a really neat twist to be able to play as one of the enemies- will we find out what exactly creatd The Keeper? if you want a better look at Boxman's model, check out this link.

The Season Pass will be priced at $19.99, and offer a break on the price of buying each pack individually.

The Evil Within releases on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on Tuesday, October 14th in North America and Friday, October 17th in Europe. Pre-order and you will receive a "Fighting Chance Pack", which gives you a number of in-game items that will make the game a little easier for you, including a double barrel shotgun.
