Avengers Age Of Ultron’s Vision Is Comic Book Accurate, No More Iron Man [PHOTOS]

Tony Stark’s OS Gets An Upgrade, But No More Movies For The Man Himself

One of the most exciting things about a new Avengers movie was always going to be the addition of new Avengers. In single superhero movies, it's usually all about who the new villain is, since the hero is always the same, but in the comics, the teams' roster is as flexible as a density-changing android. And wouldn't you know...

Paul Bettany is playing the colorful synthezoid, of course, and the British thesp has actually been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since way back in 2008 as Iron Man's house-and-suit OS JARVIS (in the comics, Jarvis was Tony's human butler). In the comics, the Vision was also an android created by Hank Pym, a character to be played by Michael Douglas in a movie that's not yet finished. This has led fans to speculate that movie-Vision is simply the embodied version of Iron Man's OS. Makes sense!

In further Iron Man news, Robert Downey Jr. has told Variety we probably won't be seeing any solo adventures of the armored Avenger anymore, even though he's sticking with the Marvel Universe till Avengers 3. When asked if he'd allow anyone else to fill the role, he rather smartly said "I like that the idea is that it would be up to me, like I'm casting director for Marvel."
