Batman Arkham Knight Release Date Announced Following Delay, Collector's Editions Revealed

Batman Arkham Knight Release Date Announced Following Delay, Collector's Editions Revealed

In June, Batman: Arkham Knight's launch was pushed back to an unspecified date in 2015. Rocksteady Studios has now announced the release date will be June 2.

Alongside the new release date--which will hopefully stick this time--the studio revealed two collector's editions for the title. The two bundles--the Limited Edition and the Batmobile Edition--will cost $99.99 and $199.99 respectively.

The Limited Edition comes in a Steelbook case and includes a full-color 80-page art book, as well as a "Batman Memorial Statue" commemorating the game's hero. Additionally, you will get a copy of the DC Comics Batman: Arkham Knight #0 comic book and three New 52 character skins.

The Batmobile Edition comes with everything in the Limited Edition, but the Batman statue is replaced with a fully transformable Batmobile statue made by Triforce. The Limited Edition is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, while the Batmobile Edition is only offered on the two consoles.

This is Rocksteady Studios' last entry into series, having handed off duty previously to Warner Bros. Montreal for Arkham Origins after creating the first two games in the franchise, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.
