Latest 'Fury' Trailer Highlights The World War 2 Tank Film's Story [VIDEO]

Check Out Brad Pitt In The Latest Trailer For The Upcoming World War II Film 'Fury'

Who doesn't love tanks? We here at GameNGuide love them, you love them and thankfully, Brad Pitt loves them, too. The newest international trailer for the film star's upcoming WWII tank film has just hit the net and there is a lot of sound to go with this Fury.

Wargaming Takes An In Depth Look At A WWII Soviet Tank

Fury tells the tale of a tank crew in the ending days of the war. Lead by Brad Pitt, the five man crew undertakes a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Victory is vital, as the trailer states, the whole damn war effort could be undermined if the German troops breach the line. The tank crew finds themselves outnumbered, outgunned and without a working tank and will fight tooth and nail to make it out.

The film is directed by David Ayer, who is no stranger to gritty, action oriented adult films. He previously wrote and directed the well received End of Watch and even helped pen the script on the WWII submarine film U-571. He's quietly making a name for himself and Fury is shaping up to be his magnum opus to this point.

Fury stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Isaacs, Logan Lerman and End Of Watch alum Michael Pena. The new trailer is an effective, dramatic and thrilling look at the nitty gritty business of war. While we all hope to see more of Aldo Raine, Pitt's character, named Wardaddy, is shaping up to be a beast of a different caliber.

The film was selected as the closing night film for the London Film Festival and Sony clearly wants this to be its big period piece for the upcoming awards season. While I love what people can do with such films as Saints & Soldiers: The Void, a big release, big budget tank film could really be something special.

Fury opens here in the states on October 17. Watch the trailer below.
