The Voice Video Game Is Bringing Singing Karaoke Gameplay To Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U In October

The Voice Is Starting Its 7th Season And Bringing Along A New Video Game With It

If you're one of those people who will shamelessly sing in the shower or in the car, you might as well try to get some Achievements for it.

NBC's entry in the singing competition genre, The Voice, is coming back this month for its seventh season, and Activision is now bringing the formula onto last-gen systems and the Wii U. The Voice, which will hit systems in late October, offers players both single player and multiplayer game modes inspired by the hit show.

The game includes all of the show's different stages, from the blind auditions with the judges' iconic button-powered swivel chairs to the show's finale where only one contestant can walk away victorious.

Though you can go through the game solo, taking on the show's traditional format, you can also challenge your friends to see who's got the best voice with the included "Party Mode" for up to eight players. For those who need a little more help getting into peak singing condition (it's okay, no judgement here) the game honors the show's focus on celebrity coaching with a Voice Coach Mode that runs through actual tips for several different aspects of professional singing.

The game comes packed with a microphone peripheral for your console, so you'll be ready to sing right out of the box. The game's song list includes a collection of current radio hits from artists like Cole Windell and Sam Smith and spans several different genres of music.

The Voice will be releasing for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii and Wii U on October 21.
