Hyrule Warriors, the Dynasty Warriors/Zelda mash up has been on a slow roll out since last month when it released in Japan has at last come to Europe. But it will not be the same. Nintendo was among the last to embrace DLC; they believed in releasing the final version of a game when it was, you know, released. Not so, for today they've finally gone and done it: season pass for Hyrule Warriors.

The company announced the DLC at this year's Tokyo Game Show yesterday. The "season" as it were, will begin in October, after the game is out everywhere. The new content will be a mix of new items, weapons and yes, characters from various iterations of the Legend of Zelda over the years.
Starting on October 16th, players will have access to the Hyrule Warriors Master Quest, which includes: one new Weapon, New Scenario, Adventure Map, and two Costumes. No word on the details of what those would entail. The pack will cost 1200 yen.
Final Fantasy XV Is Coming, But With A New Director
In November, Twilight Princess will introduce the game's first new characters after the initial roster. The pack will cost 1200 yen and will include:
1 new character
1 new weapon
Adventure Map
2 Costumes
December gets the month off, presumably so you can buy Hyrule Warriors if you have not already done so. The season continues in January with the Majora's Mask pack for 1200 yen. The often underappreciated N64 title was not featured in the original crop of side-characters, so to see it included here is heartening news. The pack includes:

Adventure Map
3 new costumes
I wonder who the new characters will be. Lastly, in February, the Ganon pack will be released for 500 yen and will feature 2 new game modes.
Players can purchase the entire season pass for 3000 yen, and save themselves a tidy bundle. European gamers are also getting the DLC, and Nintendo of America has confirmed that America will be, too. If you purchase the season pass for $19.99, you will gain access to the Dark Link costume!
Hyrule Warriors launches in America next week, on September 26.
