Interview With Visceral Boss Leads To Battlefield Hardline Revelations

Steve Papoutsis, boss of Visceral Studios, developers of Battlefield Hardline, the newest member of the Battlefield family focusing on down South cops 'n robbers shenanigans, dropped some interesting new tidbits on Hardline's game modes.

Battlefield Hardline's Release Date Shuffle Explained

No Rush mode, that's the big takeaway from Papoutsis' interview with YouTuber jackfrags, embedded below (via Eurogamer). Head on over to MP1st for a complete rundown of all the weapons we know are available in Battlefield Hardline so far. Game modes we know so far? Those would be: Hotwire, Rescue, Blood Money, Heist, Conquest (Turf Wars), and Team Deathmatch, leaving one unannounced mode.

In a recent blog post, lead MP designer Thad Sasser teased the game modes he considered would be the most popular going off beta responses.

Battlefield Hardline Will Have A Single Player Worth Playing (Seriously)

"This year, we had around 150 stations running either the Rescue or Hotwire mode, split between PS4 and PC,' said Sasser "17,655 people tried out our new game modes - and came back with great feedback! Overall, the reception of the competitive-focused Rescue and the vehicle-based Hotwire modes was very positive, and we also got some specific feedback on how to improve these modes."

Battlefield Hardline is coming to PC and both last and next-gen consoles this March 2015 after a delay from November 2014.
