Batman v Superman Spoilers: Metropolis Destruction From Man Of Steel Has Consequences [NEW SET PICTURES]

Jerk Superman From Man Of Steel Will Pay, Set Pictures Reveal

Zack Snyder's Man Of Steel had a lot of Superman fans in an uproar last year after the last son of Krypton decided to let most of Metropolis be turned into a post-apocalyptic hellhole during his battle with Zod and his minions. Now, set pictures reveal that Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will definitely portray the consequences of his actions.

One could argue that Superman was totally forced to deal with the Kryptonian soldiers who were out of his league in terms of fighting experience and training, but then again, he was written that way. David Goyer and Zack Snyder also could have done some fancy writing footwork to keep the civilian casualties at a minimum (like literally every Marvel hero seems to have no problem doing). They chose not to, which is their prerogative, of course.

In a way, that makes the set photos embedded below even weirder. Protesters with signs that read "Thanks for the "help", Superman", swastikas, burning Superman effigies... I mean, these people live in the universe of Man Of Steel. They can't throw up the argument that things should have played out differently in the script. From the point of view of a person within the fictional universe, Superman totally did his best and defeated a dozen dudes that were as powerful as he was with better combat training. This is why I believe it's a Lex Luthor backed fake protest. What do you think?

Of Course There's Going To Be A Tetris Movie

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be released on March 25, 2016. The Zack Snyder-directed film will star Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman).
