Marvel At NYCC 2014: 'Marvel Day' On Friday Celebrates Company's 75th Anniversary With Huge Signings And Panels

Marvel Goes All Out At NYCC With 'Marvel Day' On Friday

Marvel is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and in honor of the festivities, the comic company is bringing the largest creator signing they've attempted back to the city so central to its characters. Marvel is hitting New York Comic Con in a big way on Friday.

The Complete Guide To Video Games At New York Comic Con

Almost 75 comic creators from all throughout Marvel's publishing history will be available for signings at "Marvel Day" on Friday. In keeping with the theme of 75 – and no doubt to make sure the event doesn't explode with comic fans – the massive signing will be limited to 75 ticketed congoers. For your chance to snag a ticket, show up to the Marvel booth when the doors open at the con tomorrow morning. A random drawing is the only thing standing between you and 75 Marvel creators.

Friday also holds a non-stop stream of exciting panels for Marvel, with different discussions going on from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. The panels focus on different comics and attributes of Marvel as a company, and it all ends with a special advanced premiere of next week's episode of Agents of SHIELD, with Director Coulson himself, Clark Gregg, slated to attend.
