Move over, The Last of Us Remastered--the PlayStation 3 is getting its own definitive version of one of last generation's most acclaimed titles.

Sony has announced The Last of Us: Game of the Year Edition for PS3, set for release on November 11. It's currently only planned for Europe, but we'll keep an eye out for release in other regions.

The Last of Us: Game of the Year Edition will come with all of the DLC released for the title. This includes the Left Behind prequel content, Grounded Mode, and the Abandoned and Reclaimed multiplayer maps.

The Last Of Us Remastered served the same purpose on PS4, bringing the title to the system for the first time. It was also able to offer a substantial HD graphics upgrade, due to the more powerful hardware. This GOTY edition will serve as an alternative to those who haven't made the leap to PS4 or didn't play the game on PS3 (hey, maybe some only picked up the console recently on the relative cheap).

The Last of Us: Game of the Year Edition may not come with the bells and whistles (photo mode, improved framerate and resolution) of the remastered PS4 version, but it was somewhat inevitable after the huge amount of praise the game received--hopefully the announcement of a global release is on the way.
