Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Figures Revealed: Purchase Cloud, Tifa, Barret And Red XIII Starting In December

New Play Arts Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Movie Collectibles On Sale In December: Cloud, Tifa, Barret And Red XIII

Square Enix is adamant in their refusal to update the PlayStation classic Final Fantasy VII. That does not, however, mean they do not want to make a buck or two or ten from it. The company has released several spinoffs over the years, reissues, books, and even a follow-up movie titled Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

The Dark Knight Rises Heavensward In Final Fantasy XIV

The movie is seriously great, if a little confusing at times. What it may lack in storytelling clarity, it makes up for by having some of the best action sequences this side of The Matrix. According to Kotaku East, Square Enix's figure line (Play Arts Kai) will be releasing some new figures based on Advent Children beginning in December.

Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockheart, Barret Foa and Red XIII (who really only shows up right at the end) are getting the figurine treatment. Cloud will be on sale in April for 12,960 yen, or about $120. Red XIII, available in December, and Tifa and Barret, on sale in January, will set you back about $98.

The Dragon Age Of Ultron Mash Up Trailer Is Here

The official amiami site is all in Japanese, but don't worry, we put it through the translator to see what comes up. Not only do we learn that Cloud is tentatively coming out on April 15, but is also described thusly:

"Containing a melancholy expression and hair style, including cloudy Wolf of shoulder armor, in all of the ornaments that were decorated in costume, I stuck a shaped and colored to detail.

Addition to one swing of the "coalescence sword" also combined state in the play, 6 swing of separating state, a total of seven is included, and specifications can be stored on the back of the holder. Also making it the finish to enjoy the appearance in the play from any angle."

Endless fun, that Google Translate.

You should absolutely check out the director's cut of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children , which adds back in blood and gore and recuts a few scenes to make them easier to understand in the grand story. The movie just drops you right in the middle, and even people who have played Final Fantasy VII a lot can find themselves lost.

We can only hope the Sephiroth figure comes soon, as his design is amazing in the movie.
