World Of Warcraft Warlords Of Draenor Expansion Gets Four Commercials: Grommash Hellscream Gazes Into Your Eyes In New TV Spot [VIDEO]

Grom Hellscream Gazes Also Into You In Latest Warlords Of Draenor TV Spot

Blizzard has released several new tv spots for the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion Warlords of Draenor.

The Dragon Age Of Ultron Is Here And It Is Incredible

The four commercials- two 30-second spots and two shorter 15-second one-, cull some of the best bits from the Warlords of Draenor opening cinematic. The footage features a retcon of the events that occurred in Warcraft II: Tides Of Darkness and therefore, everything else that has ever happened in the game.

Originally, the demon lord Mannoroth forced the Orcs of Draenor to drink his blood, giving the creatures untold strength but forever binding them to the will of the Burning Legion, the grand adversary in the Warcraft lore. The opening cinematic and these commercials show a much different version of events.

The Dark Knight Rises In Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward

The newest, and most affecting, spot is the simplest: Grommash Hellscream, champion of the Horde, the first Orc who drank the blood of Mannoroth, stares at the camera, breathing, readying himself. The other commercials are all about the whiz bang and the rah rah of the Iron Horde, the new five clan faction emerging as the central threat in the Warlords of Draenor, that a smaller, more intimate look into the face of one's eventual doom is pleasant.

Grom Hellscream will be one of the upcoming boss battles. He was saved from his death, at the hands of Mannoroth, by his son Garrosh, who has traveled back in time to reclaim the legacy of the Horde. This is sure to create no small amount of paradoxical hell for all involved.

You can read up on the history of Hellscream here.

Warlords of Draenor looks to revitalize World of Warcraft, which has recently seen a significant dip in its subscription numbers. Nearly ever facet of the game will be getting a facelift, including the actual faces which were just updated during a recent patch. Prepare for a whole new world (a newly redesigned Outland) on November 13.
