We're technically a full week away from the official release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but people are going to be playing and picking up copies as early as Sunday night thanks to a couple of early release bonuses.

Advanced Warfare has been advertising its "Day Zero" edition for a while now, a version of the game that allows preorderers to get their copy on Monday instead of Tuesday. Now, Walmart has announced that you don't even have to be a preorderer to get in on the Day Zero action. The retail chain will be selling copies of Call of Duty starting at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, November 3. In almost 3,000 stores, Walmart will be holding release events starting Sunday night, with Day Zero copies of the game ready to be sold when the clock strikes midnight.
Still, no one will be getting the game earlier than players who preordered digital copies and live on the West Coast. Midnight Eastern Time has been declared the worldwide unlock time for digital copies of the game, VG247 reported, meaning those of you on the Pacific coast will get to unlock the game at 9 p.m. on Sunday, a full 27 hours before the "official" Tuesday release date, though that release date is becoming less and less significant.
If the pattern holds true, then that means Hawaiian fans will get the game just in time for Sunday dinner. Quite the headstart for a game that's technically releasing on Tuesday.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 starting (officially) Tuesday, November 4. To all of our Samoan readers who preordered a digital copy, though, have fun with your 5 p.m. Sunday launch.
