Latest Hearthstone Update Adds Four New Card Backs Celebrating All Things Blizzard And Warcraft

Hearthstone Adds Four New Card Backs As Part Of Latest Incremental Patch

Blizzard recently released the latest incremental patch 1.3.0.6698 into Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.

Dragon Age Keep Beta Now Live, Make Your Choice, Make Your Thedas

The patch fixes a minor issue with the search function when playing the game on an iPad. It also introduces four new card backs.

They may not add any added advantage, but they're a small but effective way of showing off where you been, and perhaps the size of one's wallet.

Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition Is Now Available On Your Phone!

Every year in World of Warcraft, the Hallow's End festival occurs around this time. The weeks-long event, which happens on both Horde and Alliance factions, celebrates the breaking of the Forsaken (the Undead) with the greater Scourge. Since Hearthstone is very much a Warcraft game, the new Hallow's End back is here. Players can acquire it by reaching Rank 20 or higher in Ranked Play mode during the month of October.

So there's still a little time!

But if level 20 is not feasible in October, then why not November? Players reaching that goal next month will have a lot to be thankful for, and they'll get a new Goblin card back for their trouble.

Attendees to the annual Blizzcon next weekend, either those who go in person or those purchasing a Virtual Ticket will get their account credited with the Blizzcon 2014 card back. You can buy the Virtual Ticket here and gain access to live streaming of the entire event, including the Blizzcon World Championships for all of their games. We are also thinking the convention would be a great time to announce the next expansion.

Finally, fans who pre-order the collector's edition or digital deluxe edition of World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, the fifth expansion to the world's most popular MMO will get the Warlords card back. There's still time to get it. Draenor drops on November 13.

As always, you can download Hearthstone to your PC, Mac or iPad today. Android tablet support will be coming soon and in 2015, a iPhone version will also be hitting the online market.
