Dragon Age The Last Court Releases On Origin; F2P Text Adventure Bridges The Gap Between Dragon Age II And Inquisition

What Happened Between Dragon Age II And Inquisition? Find Out With 'The Last Court' Text Adventure Game

Hot on the heels of the release of Dragon Age Keep, Bioware's Origin based 'pre-game' to the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, there is now an actual game you can play: Dragon Age: The Last Court.

Behold The Dragon Age Of Ultron!

The Last Court is a text based title developed by FailBetter Games that will bridge the gap between the story of the Champion of Kirkwall and the rise of the Inquisition. The game takes place in the world of Serault on the far west side of the civilized world and takes place a few months before the events of the third game. The title is free to play, but does feature currency which you can pay for with real money in order to speed events along.

Log onto Origin and, if you have finished creating your Tapestry, you can find The Last Court in the dropdown menu on the top left of the screen. If you have not imported or created your characters from Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age II, you will have to do so in order to access The Last Court.

You choose between one of two leaders of Serault, the Huntress or the Scholar. It is easy to guess what the skills of each are. Upon selecting, you'll be taken to the main character page where you can get a closer look into your ruler's backstory.

Players will have four other characters in their party: a councilor, a lover, an accomplice and a bodyguard. Your actions and choices will determine whom will go with you.

The idea of pre-configuring your own story is one of the great innovations of this age of video games. Sequels feel less like different books and instead are chapters in the same one. Your actions determine the pace and flow of the game, and that is interactivity. That is drawing you in for an experience, tailored made just for you. You can log onto Dragon Age Keep and get started with The Last Court today.
