Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham News: Behind The Scenes Video Reveals Sprawling, Open World Madhouse Of DC's Finest [VIDEO]
DC has released its own cinematic universe lineup recently. We're all excited, for sure. We love all these characters. But waiting is hard, right? Luckily, in just a few short weeks, we can experience all of the Justice League, and then some, with the release of Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
A new Behind the Scenes video has been released featuring the developers chatting about all the new things coming to the game. Basically, it boils down to: it's big. Like really, really big. Everything is just 'bigger'. In the words of one dev, they want to make it a "Lego-lution" (that's a Lego revolution, for those of you just arriving).
The game is a true world open title; though it is open world, the worlds that are opened are legion. You're in space after all, hanging out in the JLA's Watchtower and blasting off to the far corners of the galaxy.
Nor are you simply confined to the universe as they relate to just the game's story. Lego Batman 3 is opening things up and allowing you to just roam around, getting those damn coins and explore.
The best part of the video is that we see the devs building the real-world versions of the in-game vehicles, locations and whatnot. Things you yourself can do, too.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, and iOS next week on November 11. Much like the upcoming Batman movie, it will feature nearly every single hero and villain ever featured in the DC Universe. Check out our hands-on preview here.
