Banner Saga, Armikrog And Other Indies Are Coming To The PS4 In Early 2015

Indie publisher Versus Evil is helping to bring four indie titles onto the PlayStation 4 in early 2015, including the acclaimed Banner Saga.

Terraria's PS4 Port Is Getting More Than Just A Shinier Set Of Graphics

Set in a world inspired by the mythos of the Vikings, the turn-based strategy game will be coming to the world of next-gen consoles when it makes its PS4 debut next year. The Banner Saga is the first part of a planned trilogy of games made by a small team of former BioWare developers. It has already seen its fair share of praise from the industry, and it's time that it broke out of its PC origins.

Armikrog is another game set to hit the PS4 early next year. Made by the creators of Earthworm Jim, Armikrog is a classic point-and-click adventure game. Though the genre itself is nothing groundbreaking, the game's art style is. The whole thing in animated in the style of stop-motion claymation.

Telltale's Game Of Thrones Game Will Come In Six Episodes And Launches Soon

The other two games Versus Evil is bringing to the PS4 are Kyn and Toren. Kyn boasts the same kind of mythical Viking aesthetic as The Banner Saga. The tactical RPG is the product of just two Dutch developers. Toren is an adventure game where the player guides a young child on a journey up a tower, with plenty of baddies standing in the way.

All of these games will be available to play at the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas, which takes place the weekend of December 6. If you can't make it out there for the festivities, all four games will be heading in the direction of the PlayStation Store by early next year.
