Broforce November Update Adds New Announcer Voice, Online Leaderboards And A Wealth Of Minor Fixes

Bro! Bro, bro, bro. The fine folks over at Free Lives Games have given Broforce, the greatest Expendables anything, a new update.

Never Alone Launch Trailer Takes You To The Frozen North

Yes, I am including all three of the actual Expendables movies when I say that.

The game is currently in Steam Early Access, an alpha build which you can purchase and unleash just an obscene, 1980s-inspired amount of damage on quite literally everything. The Contra-esque title has you commanding a legion of the greatest bros and brahs throughout media history (mainly concentrated in the coke-fueled nightmare that was the Reagan administration, of course) and generally blowing up anything in sight.

I do mean 'anything'. The whole world is fully destructible.

The November update sadly does not introduce any new bros, but it cleans up some code and generally makes the whole thing run a bit smoother. For instance, the UI for the level editor 'no longer burns eyes', and they've added some tips and new icons to it. They have also introduced Steam leaderboards for all custom levels. Make a great map then watch as some 10 year old kid with too much free time beats your best time in five minutes.

It also comes with a "new and improved emotionally devoid announcer voice - GO GO GO!"

For the full list of updates, which run from the small (grass particles) to the large (Brobocop gets a big gameplay makeover), head on over to the official site.

We can't wait until the full release of Broforce hits the net. Pre-order the game here. You'll be glad you did.
