With "The Amazing Spider-Man" due to be released in July, posters featuring the protagonist Peter Parker, has been surfacing in the city and projected as the friendly neighborhood wall-crawler.
The recently released photo showed a suited Spider-Man who is now shown as a web-shooter. The posters also show Spider-Man guarding the city which is reflected in his eyes.
"A new poster gives us another angle of the full Spidey suit, complete with webshooters, with the backdrop of the city keeping the marketing theme looking rather metallic and pretty damn cool. But it looks like Spider-Man has seen better days, as those gashes across his chest likely came from The Lizard," writes First Showing
"The Amazing Spider-Man" viral has also picked up with the launch of Webbed Menace which has been created by Sony to buzz up Marc Webb's new movie. Fans can send photos of the Spider-Man sightings created by them.
"We know that 'Spider-Man' has taken some scratches, and Andrew Garfield's version of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' is no different as these latest images show him a little bloodied up. Many will still be looking close at his outfit since he announced always went 'commando' in it," writes Best Movies Ever Entertainment News.
In "The Amazing Spider-Man" Peter Parker is played by actor Andrew Garfield, who has been abandoned by his parents. Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. While trying to figure this out, he comes across Dr. Curt Connors, The Lizard, his father's former partner. Peter will have to make choices which may change his life as he makes decision to use his powers in shape his destiny as a superhero.
