Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer Debuts In Select Regal Theaters This Friday; Find The One Close To You!

No Need To Meet Joe Black; Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Is Debuting This Friday On All Films At Select Regal Cinemas

It's a big week for teasers. And for teasers of teasers. On Thanksgiving, the world will be getting the first look at the upcoming Jurassic World, the fourth entry in the franchise. But the real meat of this week's trailer deluge is that on Friday at select theaters, film-goers will be getting the first look at Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.

Constantine's Second Season Is Left In Doubt After NBC Halts Production

The teaser, which will run from either 60 to 90 seconds, will be playing in front of all movies at select cinemas nationwide. The rumor is that 100 theaters will be getting it. Thus far, only Regal Cinemas have confirmed their involvement- we will see if AMC and others will follow suit soon.

People greatly speculated that the teaser would premiere in front of Mockingjay last weekend. It makes more sense, given that that film is one of the biggest of the year already. There are no major 'must see' releases this weekend; though Thanksgiving, being a time of traveling, family and time-off, is sometimes used as a way of catching up on current releases. Given the inter-generational appeal of Star Wars, what better way to see the first clip than with your family?

Aaaw Yeah, New Batman Arkham Knight Footage Is Everything You Want And More

So, if you find yourself near one of these Regal theaters on Friday while out shopping (or abstaining from shopping), you could get a glimpse at the film:

CA Irvine Edwards Irvine Spectrum 22 & IMAX
CA San Diego Edwards Mira Mesa Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
GA Atlanta Regal Atlantic Station Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
IL Chicago Regal City North Stadium 14 IMAX & RPX
NY New York Regal Union Square Stadium 14
PA Warrington Regal Warrington Crossing Stadium 22 & IMAX
TN Knoxville Regal Pinnacle Stadium 18 IMAX & RPX
TX Houston Edwards Houston Marq'E Stadium 23 IMAX & RPX
WA Seattle Regal Thornton Place Stadium 14 & IMAX

The teaser will more than likely consist of little more than the Disney logo (which replaces the 20th Century FOX logo I still associate with Star Wars), the Lucasfilm logo and a few glimpses at the new cast members, with some dramatic reveal of the Original Film's cast.

Badass Digest has a rumor report regarding what they've heard the trailer contains, for the less spoiler-phobic among you.

At the very least, we don't have to artificially inflate the opening weekend box office of Meet Joe Black in order to see the trailer. Expect the teaser to be up ten seconds after it rolls to black on the first screening.
